NatSilva's Gift: Nat and Mecha

Ok. Here we go.

I discovered you and your art before I even joined. I always loved what you drew no matter what. It also got me into art a lot more to know of a great artist before I joined. I cannot explain or detail out everything think of what talent you brought to DA, but I hope what I say will be enough. You have been one of the many artist on DA that I have been strongly inspired by to continue and improve my art. I'm so glad to talk to you every once in a while, seeing that it just makes me so excited to talk to someone I adore.

If I'm being repetitive, I'm sorry. I said it above. But for years I have felt the need to draw you something. More than just a gift of appreciation, I felt you might need one more gift/surprise that could have made you better after recent events and to celebrate your happiness for running "Over the Top" that you have told us over many journals. This is also a thanks for giving me a shout out on "Over the Top", which was a big surprise to me, as well as being a friend through the 3DS (which I semi feel guilty for not really being online to meet you and just taking a friend spot). It's really hard to say anything that isn't cheesy or just.... God, I'm even having a hard time saying that. It's just all the good times and bad that I have read about when I could and hoped for the best, even if I rarely comment on anything.

This was a tad bit difficult to chose what to draw for you, and references were different on every page, so I stuck with one image that had the details for your drawn self. I bet you can also figure out which one I used. ;3 That one was fun to draw! And I also feel great that I did so well proportionally for a human. So proud... ;v;

For Mecha... That was more tricky, seeing that he has changed a few times over year gaps. I referred to two or three images and mixed some details from older and newer ones to get what you see here. I went to using pencil for his metallic body, seeing that it was more reflective looking. It's honestly my second time using pencil for this metal appearance. I might have not gotten it perfect, but I am happy with it nonetheless.

I hope I got the details close. If I missed something, tell me, cause I think I might have. *scratches head*

In full honesty, I did want to draw something for you years ago, but I was much more critical of my own skills that I felt it would be good at all. It took years until this. I only wish I could have posted this sooner or drawn something for you years ago. I guess now is better than never.

I hope you love this, you keep on drawing, and don't stop being the grand artist and person you have been for these years. I look forward to more of your art.

I have been having the hardest time posting this. How it was drawn a bit back, the colors took time, and how DA (a few times before) had been kicking me out of DA for reasons unknown as I was submitting my Dream post a bit ago. This will be something for the time being, until I get Beta's Origin up soon. Very soon. Thank you to those who have been patient with me on that. I'm so sorry... ;^;

That will be up maybe within this next week. Maybe even one more thing that is here in pencil, but in full color!
